About
Data Daily publishes in-depth articles on the technology engineers are actually talking about.
How stories are chosen
Twice a day we look at what is climbing the Hacker News front page. Stories with a durable technical angle are picked up; news recaps, politics and product promotion are skipped. Each article is an original piece on the idea behind the story, not a summary of the link, and it links back to the source and the discussion that sparked it.
Editorial standards
Each article belongs to one of our five beats and is held to the same checklist before it is published: a clear argument rather than a survey, concrete details over generalities, no invented quotes or statistics, working links, and no filler. Every piece credits the story and the discussion that inspired it.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Corrections are welcome: reply in the Hacker News discussion linked at the end of each article.
